Jawbone UP is a pedometer or a health monitoring system which is used to track your diet, physical activities, and quality of sleep. The earlier models of Jawbone UP had several defects, but the latest ones are much improved. It is a wireless connected tracker in a flexible and comfortable wristband format. It is used along with specific android applications and you can access the gadget’s statistics on your Smartphone or computer. It uses the Motion X sleep tracking technology so that detailed sleep graphs can be produced. It is advisable to wear this wristband on your left wrist (if you are right handed) and vice versa, in order to obtain accurate results. The band consists of a display showing a flower and moon for use during daytime and sleep tracking mode respectively. In case you want to change the modes, it is just enough to press the band end, for starting or stopping the mode. You can also track your mood swings with a smiley face or a frowny face. Few of the unique features of Jawbone UP are as mentioned below:-

Alarm setting
One of the most attractive features of this gadget is that idle Alerts can be set, which will vibrate to indicate that you have been inactive for too long. You can set the alarm at a specified time as you require. Another efficient feature is its “Power Nap” mode, which gently vibrates to wake you up at the end of your nap.

The UP band is made up of flexible, durable, light, and water resistant material such as latex-free hypoallergenic rubber. Though it is water-resistant, it is recommended not to wear it during swimming or water-related activities. You can keep the wristband in your pocket or purse when you do not feel like wearing it on your wrist. You can choose the band based on the size of your wrist as it comes in three sizes. You can choose its color since it is available in eight various types of color.
